Sheffield’s newest four star hotel has been rated highly by the AA Recognition Scheme for its top class facilities and services in the heart of the city.
Copthorne Hotel, Sheffield, which is based next to Sheffield United’s Bramall Lane football stadium, has received an AA merit of 79 per cent and one AA Rosette for its 1855 restaurant.
The AA has been recommending and acknowledging hotels since 1908. Rosettes are awarded annually to AA inspected restaurants for the quality of their food.
Orla Watt, general manager at the Copthorne Hotel, Sheffield, said: “We are thrilled to have been awarded such a high AA rating.
“The AA Rosette for the restaurant is also an exciting achievement. We recently appointed award-winning head chef, Daniel James, who has already earned three AA rosettes during more than a decade’s hospitality experience across the UK at high class venues in Wales, London and Cambridge.
“All these things combined make us very proud of the Copthorne Hotel, Sheffield and its associated facilities – especially as it is a new brand in the city.”
The new, 158 room Copthorne Hotel Sheffield brings the latest four star facilities and services to the heart of the city.
